| Our Economy Was Last Good Before Bush |
By:

My wife and I were talking last night and we were trying to remember back to the last times that a gallon of gas price was good, which means less than a pack of Marlboro. All of the reasons why the economy is so bad is because of the price for a barrel of oil Think about it. Oil prices reaching an all time high of over $100 per barrel has created a chain reaction. Pricing for milk, eggs, meat, poultry, and everything else has gone up because of the amount of gas it now takes to move these products. Gas used to remain at a somewhat stead pricing of around a dollar per gallon but the way we are heading gas will soon be the largest expense of our income.
OPEC raised the pricing on par barrel oil cost when Bush started making these frivolous attacks against countries in the Middle East. Yes these men had to be dealt with but could another less costly solution have been implemented. Look at how bad things have gotten and then think about the fact that we actually elected Bush for a second term. How insane and archaic is that.
The only real possible solution I can see is out with the old and in with the new. We need to shut down our current governmental system and the people need to create a new one. One like that of our Eu counterpart would have many great benefits. It would eliminate the problems with Medical care for our citizens, retirement, immigration, education, and everything else we are currently suffering with. If our forefathers were somehow able to be around in our current economy they would all commit suicide.
We need to look closely, the entire World, at the philosophies of the famed show Star Trek. A life where the only gain is from that of helping others. No more wars, hunger, or poverty. Maybe we will never travel at warp speeds or be able to transport living creatures but the philosophies need to be incorporated or someday we will be visited by life from another planet and we will still be fighting amongst ourselves. Star Trek is the Nostradamus of the 20th century
There is hope for us but this comes not without some drastic change in the way we live in what we hold of value. We don't need War, homelessness, starvation and poverty. We should be well ahead of ever having the need for any of these things.
