One of the first thing any home owner should do is do what ever it takes to keep black mold out of the home. most home owners live every day not knowing that they have toxic mold growing in their home until they start getting sick. Since the mold has been growing for a long period of time it has become toxic which gives off deadly fumes that causes illness. You really can't tell the amount of time you and your family were exposed to this toxic mold. It is truly amazing of how fast black mold can reproduce and here are a couple examples why.

I just went through an issue with mold that could of been avoided not more than a week ago. We live in florida so we have the air conditioning running constantly. Normally when the a/c unit turns off it will darin the excess water through a pipe that leads outside. I have never had a problem with this until now. I couldn't believe that all the moisture was literally dripping on top of the water heater. It sounded like everything was draining properly until i had a closer look. Boy was i wrong. I was shocked when i woke up the next day and found out that my hall way area was flooded with water. I looked under the air conditioning and saw that the air filter and everything under it was soaking wet. And then i saw the blackish green mold that had already started to incubate on the wood and walls. This problem had to be going on for a while. What makes this more scary is i have no clue of how long that mold was growing in there until this incident happened.

The main option i had was to figure out how and where this thing was leaking water from. The next thing i needed to do was find out which natural mold removers were out there that were strong enough to help fix my problem. I suspected that the drain plug had something blocking it. I wanted to start off with the most easiest and logical reason for this problem first before i started getting in deeper. My hunch was right because that pipe was the one causing all of the leaking. I looked inside the drain pipe and it was filled with mold and algae. I reached for the natural mold removers and poured it all over the inner drain pipe area. It did a great job cleaning both the mold and the algae at the same time.

The next thing i had to do was get rid of all the mold spores that were in the carpet areas. I took a drive to the rental place and got a water vaccum device and removed all of the water that was sitting in the carpet that was in my hallway. Now that most of the moisture was taken care of I squirted all the areas in the air conditioning closet and carpeting with the natural mold remover. I gave the product about 10 minutes to kill any mold that was embedded deep into the base of the carpet. I then wiped all the walls dry. i then used my vacuum cleaner to scrub up the remaining mold from the carpetand let the brushes do the work for me.

And since that time, I have won the battle so far against black mold. I'm just greatful that i found out about this menace before it caused me and my family permanent damage. i checked out some articles about some unlucky home owners who lost everything because the mold became toxic and was giving off toxic fumes therefore causing the living conditions to be unliveable. Thank god, time was on my side. You only learn from your mistakes and since i avoided a big mistake i will make sure there are no leaks in my a/c unit on a regular basis.
