Active adult communities are for households that have at least one member over the age of 55. Most of these communities offer low maintenance housing with one level living areas. Prices on homes in these active adult communities will vary from community to community all around the country. Specifically in the Dunbarton area prices start at about $350,000 and go up to almost $500,000 depending on the type of home one wants.
