To very briefly condescend to today’s language, the Lord does acknowledge in dealing with the populace that mankind is severely “spiritually challenged.� He takes this reality into consideration when presenting facts and truth, taking care to present them in a manner so crystal clear that even the spiritually challenged cannot miss the point.

As nearly as can be determined, roughly 1/3 of the world’s population consider themselves Christian. That is approximately 2 billion people - almost 1 in every 3 persons - a lot of people. Of course, there are differing degrees of Christianity - those who were born and raised Christians, recently made Christians, orthodox Christians, Sunday Christians, closet Christians, life-time Christians and openly devout Christians.

Now consider this: what if you were born in a country with all the outward identification to prove you were a citizen of said country, along with generations of other citizens, and then suddenly it is revealed that because of a certain law that had been in effect since the country’s founding - a law you have broken - you are shown not to be a legal citizen and therefore have no rights to claim the benefits of citizenship? Wouldn’t this be a Analogy. There are a multitude of people calling themselves Christians who by the laws of God have been suddenly shown to not be legal citizens of the Kingdom of God. They do not fulfill the mandated requirements of citizenship in that Kingdom and therefore have no right to any of the benefits of that Kingdom.

What law has been broken by everyone claiming citizenship? Something that transpired with them right at the beginning. They broke the law which requires a person die and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as King. They refused a clear command from the Father of Light and deliberately so. Yet, in order to become a Christian and to remain one you cannot break the laws of the Kingdom and that most basic law of all is to die and receive the absolute Kingship, Lordship and total Ownership of the Lord Jesus Christ who is King, not only of the Kingdom of God, but of all in Creation. It is as the Lord told Nicodemus, “except ye die and be born again, ye shall in no wise enter the Kingdom of God.� And being born anew into this state is certainly shown by an unwavering acceptance of the King as one’s absolute ruler. There are no, “if you would like to do this� - to carry out this instruction or that command. The Lord Jesus Christ’s commands as King are unquestionable and quick obedience a mandatory requirement.

The Lord God made this quite clear to Saul when he disobeyed a direct command from God - though at first Saul tried to present himself as one who had carried out the Lord’s command. Nevertheless he knew very well he had disregarded the rest of God’s commandment in that situation. (I Samuel 15:22,23) And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee…

There are penalties for breaking the commands of God, of the Lord Jesus Christ - suddenly you are cut off from being a citizen. Then what happens? You are cast out of life. It is a terminal condition. The point is simply that a command from the Lord Jesus Christ as King is a law - it is unbreakable and absolutely mandatory. It is the requirement for citizenship in His Kingdom - here on earth and most certainly in heaven. If you say you believe on Him then you MUST OBEY Him - that is the proof that you are His. That first obedience is to DIE and receive His total Kingship. You are not your own in even the smallest thing - you become His to direct every single second of every single day. You don’t receive Him (His shed Blood) as the propitiation for your sins then go on sinning - you obey Him because any disobedience is sin.

Now if it should be thought that this is all such a new idea being presented here and thus difficult to receive as true, let it be made clear right now that none of this information - or any of what is presented on O.R.S.’s website - is something recently come to the forefront. Not at all. Right after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit came to the earth and began to carry out the command of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord had told His disciples the Holy Spirit would do. The Holy Spirit began to reprove the world of sin (because they believe not on the Lord Jesus Christ and hence do not receive Him as King), of righteousness (because the Lord Jesus Christ obeyed His Father and not only died but rose again and henceforth sits on the right hand of God as Lord of all) and of judgment (because He judged the prince of this world, the wicked one, who was the first to refuse being ruled over - to acknowledge the sovereign Lordship of the Son of God - and has, since the Garden, taught that same rebellion to a willing mankind).

The Word of God says that the Gospel went to every creature and all have heard - for 2,000 years the witness of God’s Holy Spirit has been absolutely complete - missing no one. There is no excuse. All do know that the Lord Jesus Christ is King and Lord over them. They have deliberately said, “I will not have this man rule over me,� but that in no way changed the reality that He is King and He does rule - even to ruling the nations with the rod of iron as promised in both the Psalms and Revelation. There is no choice in this matter. If you say, “I’d rather die than submit to His rule,� Cardinal Richelieu’s response to someone protesting his command could be given “that can be arranged!� However, the truth of the matter is, you don’t even have that choice either. You are not your own. You were bought with a price by the shedding of the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and He can do with His property precisely what He wills. Whether you live or die at any given time is in the hand of the God of heaven - it is at the word of His Son - not by your choice.

Many years ago a Japanese national was conversing with an O.R.S.’s representative and in the course of the conversation he blurted out in response to practically the very mention of the Lord Jesus Christ’s name, “I did not ask a man to die for me!� The fervor in his response was quite incredible - and yet totally irrational - the legacy of religion again. First, it can be pointed out to him and anyone else of his mind that in fact no one on earth asked the Lord Jesus Christ to die for them. Only one asked Him to die, His Father God, and because of the Lord Jesus Christ’s absolute obedience to His Father’s command - all the way to the cruel death of the cross - He purchased the right to rule not only the Kingdom of Heaven, but the Kingdom on earth as well. Every man, woman and child of the past, present and future became His purchased possession to do with precisely as He saw fit. Mankind had no say in this transaction - because of his sin he was destined for destruction anyway - every single one. He wasn’t ruling himself anyway, he was, as Paul put it in Romans, the servant of sin - governed by its every whim and subject to the terrible destruction of mind, body and soul that it wreaked upon him. That mankind was so graciously provided a chance to receive instead life and that most abundantly by being raised up a new creature to willingly serve the Son of God was hardly a reason to be filled with resentment and rage against his Creator.

When this particular Japanese was born, the ruler of Japan was Emperor Hirohito. Now Mr. Tohyama did not ask Emperor Hirohito to be his Emperor, or the head of Japan. Hirohito inherited that position from his father before him and passed it to his own son upon his death. Mr. Tohyama could no more change that fact than he could turn the moon around. It is no different with the Lord Jesus Christ, His rulership of the world was passed to Him by His Father and was His rightful inheritance for His obedience unto death. And just as every Japanese child is taught from the time they are old enough to understand who is Emperor of Japan, every human child on earth is informed in their spirit, from the time they are very young, by God’s Holy Spirit, that the Lord Jesus Christ is their King and they are subject to His rule. When they think to reject this fact is when things in their life begin to take a downward turn and they become subject to the curses that govern man’s existence upon earth - including aging, deterioration and ultimately death. Reject the only way for life and of course death is the consequence - this is the legacy of Adam since he disobeyed in the Garden and this is where mankind remains having refused the simple answer God provided in His Son.

Nevertheless, God has given rulership of all the earth to His Son and as He promises Him in Psalm 2, “Ask of me and I will give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.�

Our God is a mighty God and a consuming fire. He will not at all acquit the wicked nor allow His Son to be mocked and scorned without reprisal. That day of recompense is here. Amen.
